Samantha Yates is a glass artist based in Shipley, West Yorkshire. She uses the pseudonym Lil' Rabbitfoot.

She believes acts of kindness, love and care are of great value in our lives and creates beautiful glass flowers and foliage to share the emotions of love & joy and show appreciation .

Her flowers are rich in individual character, both naive and fun, revealing her appreciation of the natural environment, the simple beauty of nature and the happiness it can bring.

Working with copperfoil techniques she playfully explores the limitations of her materials and techniques, presenting glass to the light through exploration of different botanical forms, patterns and structures.

Samantha has a unique background in Environmental Science, the Waste Management Industry and 15 years teaching Horticulture. She is now studying Stained Glass Conservation at York University.
