I was really excited to go to the launch of the Shiny Cowbird Spirirt Company , an independent distillery , they commissioned me to make two shiny cowbirds for them and then chose one to go on the label of their spirits. Such a great project to be involved in and the launch night was really fun.

Its great when I've been spending a lot of time working in copper foil to go back to lead, this comission is one of a pair, using orginal glass souced by the customer. The colours are just right, earthy natural tones.

I've fallen in love with the little postcard I've made for Saltaire Arts Trail in May 2018. The postcards are on sale for £5 each and all the money raised goes to the Cellar Trust Project, a local mental health project.

Remember this restoration, "broken not broken", the custormer wanted to keep original glass and for the panel to tell its story, so here we are . Visable cracks but strengthened. They absolutely loved it

I'm working on a restoration at the moment whcih has a lot of cracked and missing glass. Its a challenge as my customer wants to preserve the integrity of the window and keep the original glass.
So im using the Japanese principle behind Kintsugi , where broken pots are repaired with gold to illuminate the pots story !. Quite excited, hope he likes it !
